The Board
The board is cross-shaped with a colored corner for each of four players (red, green, blue, yellow). Each corner has a 4-token home base. The cross arms form a track. The center is the home square, the final destination.

Tokens
Each player has 4 tokens of their color. All tokens start in the home base. To move a token onto the track, you need to roll a 6.
Dice
A single 6-sided die. Online ludo platforms use certified random number generators so each roll is statistically independent.

Movement
On your turn, roll the die. Move one of your tokens forward by the number of pips shown. The token moves along the track and eventually arrives at the entrance to your colored home stretch.
Special Ludo Game Rules
- •Rolling a 6: Extra turn. Three consecutive 6s on the same turn forfeits the turn in some variants.
- •Captures: Land on opponent's single token, send it back to home base.
- •Safe squares: 8 safe squares on the board (start + 7 stars). Doubled tokens act as a blockade.
- •Home stretch: Once in your home stretch, opponents cannot capture you.
- •Winning: First player to move all four tokens to the home square wins.
